Video Tutorials

Post by col lamb »

Many years ago I produced a series of video tutorials and I am looking to update some of them and to upload them onto my Vimeo site

Can I ask if anyone would like specific video advice on any aspect of editing, sound processing etc to post (please give as much detail of what you would like to see & hear)

I'll then look at what I can achieve and produce a tutorial accordingly

So far I intend to produce: -
1 - Basic editing
2 - Effective use of multiple sequences
3 - editing sound within the video editing software
4 - sound processing using Audition, Audacity
5 - AVCHD aquisition, storage etc
6 - producing HD & SD video files from within Premiere and Edius

They will only be shortish duration (15 minutes max) and will be marked up as available for download onto your PC

That sounds like a great idea. Michael Gough has put some of his tutorials online (http://www.theiac.org.uk/film/learn/lea ... thers.html) but deals mainly with the aesthetics of film making.

Which of the editing systems will you major on?

COL. it would be great if you could put these tutorials onto YouTube. Many many more more people would be able to benefit from your knowledge.

This link will get you to the page where all my movies/tutorials are located

I have also enabled the tutorials to be downloaded so that you can put them on your PC

Hope that they help

Please provide feedback on Vimeo and also comment here on them if you find any particularly useful

If I have not included something in particular please place a request here and I'll see what I can do

Enjoy
