New Animation Cinemas Website

Post by AnimatioN »

Just to let you know that I now have my new Animation
website (click below) with 6 Animation Cinemas
containing 20 films which can be viewed in broadband,
that is, if you are a broadbandit !

If only on dial-up then 50 humorous photographs
of everyday objects seen anew can be viewed, also
the write up and frames from the films.

Please don't drop yer popcorn on the Cinema floors as
my wife, who is the usherette, and I, have to clean it up!

My architect is at present designing
Cinemas 7 and 8 for me! :-)

The films cover a period of film making of 50 years, the
most recent being completed last year.

Enjoy.

Sorry the "click below" will not work on this forum,
so just copy and paste the URL

into your browser address bar or type it in.

As a proud visitor to Albert's cinemas during construction (hard hat optional)
and having carefully examined the finished construction I can assure you
it is well worth the visit ... and more importantly full of fun!
The still photos are witty and thought-provoking while the movies are great.
What Albert does with simple objects, skill, talent and time is amazing.
A few are now of historical interest and Albert's skills have moved on, but
"Red Type" has great power from the early days and I'm a sucker for the nostalgic
ones.

If you happen to be an Apple user, be warned that the movies are encoded
for Windows Media player, but fear not, a free download of an Apple version
of that device can be had from ...

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window ... fault.aspx

Don't even try to type that. Copy and paste it into your web browser.

Now was that ice-cream sales lady in fishnet stockings and abbreviated uniform
in cinema 3 Joan or Albert in drag?!

As you seem to be a bit of an old fogey like me,
I would recommend "Echoes from the Past" now showing
in Cinema 2. Do those old eyes of yers a bit o good,
but only if you are a broad bandit.

But please don't drop yer bloody popcorn on the Cinema
floor as my wife and I have to clean it up afterwards.
And don't vandalise the 9d seats and no snogging
in the 1/9s. OK? Behave yerself.

Man your prices are steeper than the raked seating. The Picture House only
charges 3/3 for the Crows' nest and Alcove (back of the Balcony), Balcony
reserved @ 2/9, unreserved @ 2/6, Stalls 1/6 and front stalls 10d. Additionally
reduced prices for children before 7pm (except Sats) and matinees. And I'm
not an old foogie! (30 something). Most of the snogging goes on at the back
of the balcony and in the projection room.

Cinema For Thurso- Mon- Fri continuous nightly from 5.45pm, Saturday, separate
houses at 2.0, 5.30 and 8.10pm approx.
