Well that might fall foul of the proposed legislation on media control ...I believe there may be someone waiting in the wings to take over the
magazine. I did actually offer myself at one stage -- but it seems someone

if the same chap has power over the website and the magazine !!!
I am assuming that the Richard Palmer here is the boss of Merula Limited
which hosts the IAC website ... and is a member of Channel 7 moviemaking
group. Where he would find the time to tackle a magazine as well I cannot
imagine !
The IAC Council may have someone else in mind - part of the duties of the
officers is to have contingency plans ready.

P.S. It seems to me that a nice thing to do would be for as many of us as
possible to prepare articles on whatever topic/s we feel competent to tackle
and to offer them to the new editor whenever s/he is appointed. I hope
that
all the current FVM writers will continue but there may be some drop-outs.
(Most editors have some contributors who only write because the editor knows
how to twist their arms the right way.)
