Open Film Night

Open Film Night worked well on Sunday 29th May. The films were shown on by Simon on Zoom this time and they played well. Paul Kittel did a wonderful job of chairing the evening. There were more than 25 people there, so film-makers had a good audience.
Our Bournemouth Video Club film: "Contradictory Sayings" played well. There was comment about the washed out look of the film. I explained that when I had edited the clips all together I added vignetting and desaturated the whole film to colour grade the clips together. The cheerful music was needed because we are not actors and some sounded a bit drole! I may do a re-edit for the So-Co competition to cover some of the jump-cuts with cut aways.
