Re: Hard disk drive failure
Could I just add a tip about hard disk problems (SSD or spinners). I've been using a very useful piece of FREE software called CrystalDiskInfo. This interprets the disk S.M.A.R.T (Self monitoring analysis and reporting technology) data to warn of any impending disk problems. At it's simplest level it uses a traffic light system to show the health status of all disks in your PC ie Healthy/Monitor for deterioration/Replace drive ASAP. Get it from Crystal Dew World and run it occasionally so you can be forewarned of impending problms.
