Amongst about 10 reels of Super 8 silent film sections of a few jumped so much in the gate that parts are unwatchable. The sprockets weren't apparently damaged but one that I measured a 28 inch length had shrunk about half a frame and I assume that is the cause of the fault. But the funny thing is that these were odd films , basically the unedited 50 foot ones, wound together on 400 foot reels with other lengths that gave no trouble in the gate. I have never observed this before. Has anyone else?
