Anyone got a contact at the BFI?

One of our members proposes a club evening in which she wants to include some clips of films by Cecil Hepworth (Hepworth Studios was local to us). She has material, but being a stickler for legality as far as copyright is concerned (quite rightly, in my book) she wants the OK to show these clips. Apparently the BFI own the rights but she has received no word back from anyone she has conatcted.
Does anyone have an "in" or know someone there?
