At The Space Between we have introduced small financial grants to non-commercial movie makers. For young movie makers the cost of supplies; particularly petrol; are now a problem and seed money is very helpful. In return TSB gets a producer credit and the right to show the films at the annual film show and enter into festivals; credit to the movie makers. We have made our first grant. We also run an annual script writing contest and make the winning script; two of our productions have been at BIAFF and done well.
