Hello..
I have a question.... because i am tight

My stabilizer has a battery unit at the bottom to power the 7" monitor ..now it states that the monitor is 12v and
has the normal 2 wire lead that goes down to a sinle pin conector

the battery holder is for a V-lock battery.... could i by-pass this to use a 12v 4aph battery ?

the difference being 12v aph ..free 12v V-lock + charger £350 and this is only to run a 7" monitor

A battery is a battery, as long as the battery you intend to use has an ah rating in excess of the monitor it will work, simply change the power connectors

to clarify what Col said... a 4AH battery will last only 1/3 of the time of a 12 AH battery when powering the same item. You will just have to charge it more often.

Thankyou gents, I have no problem charging a battery, far better than spending £350
