JVC Everio camcorder date time showing

I have a JVC Everio HD camcorder model no. GZ-HM445 I film in 1280x720 res. then use HDMI cable to watch on tv after setting "DISPLAY ON TV" to OFF so the date date does not appear on screen, but when I upload video to Everio Media Browser (software that is built in to camera) then play clip on pc. the date time is not there but when I convert to 640x360 to enable me to burn to DVD using Nero the date time is back on clip. Also when I use Pinnacle 11 to edit film and then burn to DVD it is there.
I have also tried to use Freemake software to convert 1280x720 files to 720x576 DVD quality WMV file, no luck.
I have spoken to JVC dealer tech. dept. but they cannot help much just saying that if you use HDMI and USB it will but using AV cable the time date will not show, I asked why design an HD camera when you have to use AV connection!!
There must be a way of removing time date display after importing video to a PC.
Any help would be appreciated as I have a film of visit to Liverpool with time date showing, we are off to Italy on the 18th I really would like to create a film of the trip without it showing on finished film. The on line instructions do not help at all.
Thank you
