The news has just come in that Kristian Digby has been found dead in his London flat.

In recent years Kristian was best known as the presenter of various television "property" shows like Buy It, Sell It, Bank It and To Build or Not To Build. But in his youth he was a prolific and excellent film maker. He did well in the IAC Festivals, BAVA and Guernsey.

Among his work in the IAC Video library is:
1994 WORDS OF DECEPTION
1995 A NOVEL TWIST
1995 FRAGMENTS OF DEMENTIA
1995 SOME YOU WIN
1996 LAST TRAIN TO DEMISE
1998 OUT OF THE BLUE

I am very sad to hear the news of Christian Digby's death. As a founder organiser and judge of the Guernsey Lily Film Festival I have had the pleasure of seeing Christian's films. I was enormously impressed by his talent and extraordinary maturity as a filmmaker for one so young. I wish he had continued to produce films, as we probably had not seen the true extent of his potential. I gather he was a successful TV presenter, although I had not had the pleasure of seeing him perform in that role. His death is tragic for both his family and friends, and all those in our movement who have had the pleasure of seeing his brilliant film productions. he will be greatly missed.
