small monitors for camera.

Having changed my video camera to a 16x9 model, naturally I find my 8in portable flat screen 4x3 monitor unsuitable. Has anyone experience of the current range of small widescreen TVs from (say) Maplins There is a 7in model at £50.00 which appears to be OK. I can’t afford to go to the very expensive ‘pro’ versions of such monitors.

Meanwhile if anyone wants to make an offer of my current 4x3 model . . . . .

Your current monitor can't be switched into a 16:9 mode? Could the service dept do it for you if it's not a menu option?
