Hello all. We are now looking to get in entries for "The Big Gig" film & music festival's 2009 edition. Please don't wait to 5 minutes before the deadline, we need your material NOW to start planning the programme schedule.
2009 will see the event touring Scotland and possibly England too so we really need everything in early to get the logistics sorted out. Remember entry is FREE and the length of your film is not an issue (our standard rule- no sweeping 35hour epics of "Ant Farming In Outer Mongolia"- common sense please). Send your films edited the way you intended your audience to see them.
Also in 2009 TWO of our locations are MAINSTREAM CINEMAS run by one of Britains oldest cinema companies. Our confirmed locations for the Big Gig Caledonian Tour are Thurso, Wick, Tain, Elgin and Perth. Get your movies to us NOW!

No, no, no, the closing date is only a deadline, we are open for entries at all times. If an entry misses the date it is automatically passed to the following years programme. Nothing get's wasted or un-used. Send in your films.
