Is there anyone using F.C.P. for editing?
Although I am doing quite well with it I am finding it is a huge leap from
I-Movie.I would be grateful for any help available.
Regards.

Also do a search on the internet. You will proberly come across websites
that have tuition. All free. Also some may have free downloads for transitions.
goto to FCP`s website, they may have an update.

My admiration to you Beatrice for taking on F.C.P.I tried after I-movie
but gave up quite quickly and moved back to PC. I have F.C.P. book for Dummies
that you are very welcome to.Please get in touch if you would like it.

Annie and Beatrice, sorry I have just seen your posts. I have recently upgraded
my DV Media 100 editing system to their HD version 10 and it is fantastic.
Media 100 has always been the nearest non linear system to proper film editing
and is much much easier to learn than Final Cut and much more intuitive.
I operate on a Mac G5 by the way. Having said this Final Cut is the choice
for many production houses if they are not on Avids. The recent blips with
the owner companies of Media 100 put them off but now it is safely in the
hands of Boris, with development assured, all should be well.
