Ned, many thanks for your advice: message 1740.
I had already followed your suggestions in 1 & 2, but your point three; regarding
direct contact with the MD was something I hadn’t tried.
So the next day I phoned the MD’s secretary. I told her the long story about
the situation.
I was not hopeful, but this Wednesday afternoon she rang asking me to meet
the MD at 8am today. On arrival the MD immediately apologised; saying they
could not find my original tape. However, he was now aware of my partial
input in their corporate film and offered to buy all rights from me in settlement.
Well, I have just banked a cheque for an unbelievable sum, which makes an
OAP very, very happy.
