OnfuegO- what do you think?
Re: OnfuegO- what do you think?
I find the styling of 'OnfuegO' with those capital O's horrendously ugly! What do you think about this new site - www.onfuego.com?
Puts me right off!
Plus I'd always rather have a link to a file than an embedded viewer in
a pop-up window. I want
to decide what I want to do with a file!
And some of the movies are using Apple quicktime codecs that aren't available
for Linux, so I
can't watch those. And some of the ones I can see dont have audio codecs
that I can hear. I've just watched
a silent, dancing bee. I think it might have been better if it had music!
But I'm just fussy

Baz, welcome to the wonderful world of video where everyone is shooting for
something proprietary and there seem to be players that deliberately don't
play certain formats. With that said, I found the site very clean and on
my XP machine the video viewer properly set up the correct method of playing
the video. Video and sound were both fine.
The content was very interesting though the site needs more videos. I actually
really like it. Definitely intend to give it a shot.

Re: OnfuegO- what do you think?
I checked out the site and I think it's pretty awesome. There were some interesting
videos, but they seemed to be all over the place. Maybe that's why I liked
it. The FCC hearing stuff is quite interesting. It's funny that I haven't
seen any of those comments in the media, but wait - that's what they want.
Thanks for the link.
