One of my pastimes is running the website for the Cotswold International
Film & Video Festival (www.cotswoldfilmvideofest.co.uk) and I have just
put up the results of this year's competition. It is the first time that
I was not involved in the adjudication so I had no advanced knowledge.

Congratulations to some of the regular contributors to this forum:

Malcolm (Marmite) Whiteley won a Photographic Society of America medal for
the photography in "Bell Woven". He also got a Gold Diplma for "Haworth Experience".

Michael Slowe won the Jessops Ltd. Award and a Gold Diploma for "Glass Art"
plus
a Silver Diploma for "Still Life".

Albert Noble won a Silver Diploma for "For Two Pins..."

Well done - though none of you is a stranger to awards, it is always nice
to have your work recognised. "Bell Woven" and "Glass Art" will both be
screened
at the Festival on Friday 5th September. The festival lasts two days with
the
a mix of award winners and other top movies screened on Friday and Saturday.
