Long story cut short...........

I film as a newsteam for HOPE 08, a Christian Organisation. The 2 minute films that each of us make go onto their website, and are also shown on a few Christian Channels on Sky.

The two that I have done suffered from a bit of distorted sound. My two cameramen both had headphones but they never told be what the quality was like. I had been filming both films with FX1`s in HD (for future films) then converted incamera to SD OUT for editing. My friend who lends me the cameras likes to use highquality mics that are sensitive. I`ve heard some of his weddings, and they suffer a bit as well!

So i`ve never seen them on any of the channels! There not really bad, but they may be bad enough!

Be good........

I must email them again!

It IS great fun doing. You walk around in `proper offical tops` and have a cameraman follow you while you pick your victim, er, person to interview. And then edit the lot in no more then the two minute limit. It`s great to do this all as it stops you from getting rusty!

As an afterthought, on my last shoot, my radio mics were on the same band as the events. I thought that things were a bit weird! And as I got near to the sound mixing tent, I found out why!!!

Be good....
