I think Youtube is best for people like me who no longer make masterpieces, as anything you submit is accepted without going through a stage of selection. The latter procedure is like being judged in a competition. Admitted this lack of selection leads to a high percentage of rubbish (in my eyes) being shown on YouTube, but that's life and Youtube viewers seem to like it, especially the Americans, judging by the viewing figures for single shot rubbish taken on phones. I tried one of my most popular vidoes on Vimeo, and the quality on playback was good. Several friends tried to find it on vimeo by using the search and quoting my user name and the name of the video but it was never found. I contacted Vimeo and they asked for details, I gave them, and I never heard from them again. Roy
