Film Trailer

Post by Fingercuff »

Hey everyone - Although I'm not really part of the IAC anymore (a couple of years back my shorts Commitment and Dancer both won Best British Film at BIAFF) but I thought I'd share the trailer to my new short film 'Soror' for anyone who is curious. It has been a labour of love to make (4 years now!) so it's great to finally be able to share some of the film.

Hope you all enjoy!

Also, you may spot my buddy Geoff Harmer (aka Fraught on this forum) make a small cameo at the beginning too!

James, none of us regard you as a stranger in the ranks. We are proud that you have gone on to make work in the professional scene which continues the powerful, beautifully constructed movies of your amateur years.

I've been waiting for SOROR for ages ... the trailer looks gorgeous and the mood is intriguing but we need to see the whole film before too much longer ... pretty please!

I can't wait to see the film too. I had a fantastic experience the afternoon that i filmed my cameo. Was fun to watch James on set... trying to give orders without a voice! Talk about the wrong time to loose your voice! But he handled it all so well.

Bring on the screening next month! :)

Haha - yes the voice! I still have it unfortunately (damaged vocal cords) so the continuity between the shoot and the screening will be perfect :-) Speaking of which, it looks like it will be at BAFTA, the evening of August the 7th. Will confirm everything soon but hope you can make it Geoff!

Dave - thank you!I'll send you a copy so you can take a gander.

That's a shame! It'll have to be a password protected vimeo link instead!

Not too sure Lee - I've tried the 'vimeo buttons' instead so hopefully these work:

Alternatively you can see the trailer at the films website: http://www.sororfilm.com

:D Hi James, (aka "Fingercuff) thanks for your response - the URL worked fine & instantly. Very much liked the trailer and especially the techniques used in the film.

I'll have to watch out for more "stuff" in the future.

Regards: LEE. :)
