Recommended movies on the web - UPDATED
Re: Recommended movies on the web - UPDATED
Here is another of my friends films. It's called 'Meat...' and did quite well for itself in 2009. It has now spawned a Mini-Series that is being shot at the moment. Let me know what you think...

Here is another brilliant film.
SPIDER: Spider does not rely on the 'manipulation' of the audience by the Director...what you see is what you get. The economy of style in Spider is superb..within a few frames from the start of the project the audience can sense the 'atmosphere'.
Every shot, silence and dialogue thereafter point the viewer forward to the startling conclusion.....an object lesson in brevity.
Whereas in LOVEFIELD which I submitted (above) the Director deliberately misleads the audience in cinematic and audio terms to achieve his ends...
I would therefore rate SPIDER as a cut above LOVEFIELD - just:

Here are two VIMEO Movies:
One Charming:
One frightener:
Both these films excel in the thought that has gone into the shot making.

I love a short called INSIDE OUT made by the Guard Brothers in 1999. It's a really charming, wordless film starring the lovely Lena Headey, and Simon McBurney.
I urge you to spare 7 minutes of your time to see it.
