Panasonic nv-ds150 - telephoto lens 43 mm

My main camera is a Canon XM. With the cabin baggage restrictions it is too heavy with its lens etc.so when I went on holiday I took my NV-DS150 and its wide angle lens. When i bought the NV i thought I did not need the telephoto as the camera had a good zoom. However many of my holiday shots were spoilt by being out of focus on the zoom and Panasonic no longer make the telephoto lens.
I was offered a substitute in Singapore but did not have the confidence to buy at such a distance
Please does anyone know a suitable 43 mm thread tele for the camera or where I could get a second hand lens. If it was not too dear I would buy the camera as well as a spare.

John, you need have no fears in buying a telephoto converter that doesn't have Panasonic engraved on it. I'd go for a name you recognise though. Have a look at the Raynox site:

as they have a lot of fine lenses, available in different powers, prices and fittings.
