a few simple gag (trick) films!
Hmm, not sure if gag is the right word - I wouldn't want to give the wrong impression!
I had some fun at the weekend with some simple special effects tricks, and thought some people might like to see them...
They're not original, slick or clever, but they were fun, and might give someone an idea?...

Thanks!billyfromConsett wrote:I've seen the one where somebody gets run over by a bus, and yours worked quite well.
The final one was missing a shadow. Did you do all of those with Premiere and photoshop? I'd have to do some research to see if I work out how the're done.
Nice one.
I did them with After Effects, using a mixture of split screen and masking. I think it may be possible to do it using premiere, but I love AE at the moment...

I know Premiere like the back of my hand. But I also have Aftereffects. It doesn`t look any different to me then Premiere! I know what it`s mean`t to do but all the drop-downs are the same!billyfromConsett wrote:After Effects is the one program I really need to get my head around. It seems to have much to give, and I want to test what titles I can do with it.
But books and me don't seem to get on...

I don't know what versions or each you're using, but I find that the two have VERY different interfaces!
Anyway, have a look at videocopilot.net if you want a long introduction on what AE is capable of (loads of free, top quality tutorials!)

Thanks very much "Skull Krusher" Bet that phrase isn't uttered often!
I use an FX1, and I think I was shooting in HD mode too.
