Virtual Video Group

Post by edin »

The VVG would like to register as a group with the IAC but as the group covers the whole of the UK and covers all regions and Scotland how would we stand to enter the various regional competitions etc. How would the VVG best be registered as an IAC member?

Hi Edin

I hope someone from the IAC Council will give a response to this.

Several regions no longer have their own competitions and neighbouring ones generally accept films from such "inactive" regions. I would hope any regional contest would be willing to accept an entry from VVG.

The posting was to see if there was any issues with the VirtualVideo Group registering as an IAC member with a geographical presence covering the UK. From the lack of response we can assume that there will be no problems with the VVG taking part in the various inter region and international competitions. We will therefore proceed with registering the VVG with the IAC.

That's Great, Welcome! The more groups in the IAC the better.
