As you may or may not know, i'm part of the team behind a new film festival - the Exit 6 Film Festival
We're all about seeing good short films and music videos, having fun, meeting new like minded people and enjoying ourselves.

Sorry I couldn't make the launch party, Geoff. I've been a bit too busy with other film related nights out and a pass out for a third successive night was pushing it a bit (especially as the following day I was rehearsing in band for a school musical - "Grease", coincidentally).
I shall endeavor to support the festival though - I always enjoyed the Red Carper Screenings.

I know it can be tough getting the 'pass'. Been there many times myself!

No problem on not making the launch Tim, it was a very exciting night to be honest. Everyone had a great time! Plenty of great films on show, and most importantly, the social aspect was brilliant! It all felt very inspiring. Hope you can make the event in September when we do it all for real!

Barely 3 weeks to go until our Regular Deadline closes! I've seen a couple from IAC members... be good to see some more!

The final selection of films has been made, and we're screening 41 films throughout the day. With the top 6 being screened in the evening.

The festival is going to be an all day'er! Day time tickets cost £5, and that gets you in to any of the screenings during the day. We're also hosting 5 talks with Industry professionals. Really excited about this as they cover some fantastic topics like Crowdfunding, entering Festivals and how to turn Short films into Features. There is even a load of live music being played if the films get a little too much for you.
If you want to see the top films in the evening, then this ticket costs £10, but that also covers all the day time venues and talks, etc too. BARGAIN!

I think I missed the early gen on what sounds a wonderful undertaking, sorry, I would have put a film in. There is no mention of the date in your post, can you please remind us?

Goodness, I'm really dozey! Missed the date, shouldn't have posted that last post, sorry fellows.

No worries Michael... was an amazing event! We had such a good time.. still recovering to be honest!
