Best IAC Club Website & Peter Coles AV Awards 2012

Post by Dave Watterson »

We wait until the BIAFF movie winners have been informed of their results before listing any on the website, but we can tell you the results of two other related contests:

BEST IAC CLUB WEBSITE COMPETITION 2012

The judges could not separate our top two club websites, so the prize goes jointly to:
Bristol Film & Video Society (http://www.bristolvideo.org.uk)
and
Reading Film & Video Makers (http://www.readingfilmandvideomakers.org.uk)

We introduced a new category for clubs which focus on production rather than regular meetings. The award in this category goes to
Backyard Productions UK (http://backyardproductions.co.uk)

The awards will be presented immediately after lunch on Sunday 15th April at BIAFF in Weymouth.

THE PETER COLES IAC INTERNATIONAL A-V CONTEST 2012

1) Le 203 ème Jour - by Christian & Danièle Brion
2) Thomas - by Edgar & Linda Gibbs
3) The Great Prairie - by Jean Paul and Jacques van de Weerdt

Those and a selection of other top sequences will be shown on the evening of Friday 13th April at BIAFF in Weymouth.

We heartily congratulate all these winners who won their awards against tough competition.

Go on, Dave, I'm sure you've only posted these to increase Fraught's blood pressure even more!

Seriously, congratulations to all involved and especially to our local rivals, Reading for their shared Best Website Award.
