Brandon Film Festival 2010 - deadline extended

Post by WSAC »

Are you an aspiring film maker? Then why not enter your film into the Brandon Film Festival 2010.

The deadline for submissions to the Brandon Film Festival has been extended. Films can now be delivered to the Brandon Leisure Centre up to and including Saturday 28th August.

This is an open submission film festival. We are inviting film makers of any age to submit a short film (or films) in any genre and of any length. To enter, just let us have two copies of your film on DVD together with a completed submission form and a cheque for £5.00 (made payable to Anglia Community Leisure).

All films will be viewed by the selection committee and those chosen will be screened at the Brandon Leisure Centre on 4th and 5th September (full programme to be announced at the end of August).

If you haven’t yet made your own film, it’s not too late to make a start. Leading up to the Festival the West Suffolk Arts Centre will be running special filmmaking workshops. Come along and find out how easy it is to make a high quality short film with just a family camcorder.

For further information about the Brandon Film Festival or our film making workshops call 07882 891022 or email

Film Festival submission forms can be obtained in person at (or by sending an SAE to) Brandon Leisure Centre, Church Road, Brandon, Suffolk, IP27 0JB or via email from the West Suffolk Arts Centre (see email address above).
