In these days of hightened security it is only right that steps are taken to make it hard for the would be terr@rist...

this does pose a bit of a problem for a film I'm trying to source a couple of looklike fire@rms.... uniforms are British Army within last 10 years so any authentic looking piece of that era would suffice, SMG, SLR, GPMG and even an SA80 (if it stays together long enough!)....

Am I flogging a dead horse?

inquisitive minds must know !

Film making is not a matter of Life and Death
It's much more important than that.

....Or you could write a letter addressed to The Army. It would be good to hear there responce.
As to `Hot Fuzz`. Quite a funny film and they wanted to invade a Somerfield store. They got permission and used a real one. Good publisity!

Firearms available!

It is very easy to get hold of de-activated firearms of ALL types for films.
Is there a military history society in your area?
There almost certainly is.
Members of that society will have collections of weapons of every possible type, from massive trailer-mounted Howitzers to little automatic pistols and daggers.
So make enquiries, join the society - preferably - and get to know them.
