Broadband Internet Access Opens up Amateur Movie Access

Post by Paul Jordan »

I've recently had broadband internet access installed, and I'm sure this will change
the face of amateur movie access forever....

Imagine being able to download amateur movies in minutes which are of a reasonable
quality ... something which is impossible (time wise) with a 56K modem...

I was able to watch a live BBC broadcast over the internet ...can download hundreds
of amateur movies...can access software, pictures, music in seconds....its certainly
changed my view of the internet's capabilities.

The package I have is with NTL and costs 24.99 per month, but so far it has been worth
it.....!!

I'm even thinking of transferring some of the films available onto tape or CD, as they
could make a really good club night.

Anyone else got any experience of broadband access and any sites worth downloading??

Do you think it would be useful to include on the IAC site a
list of web sites where broadband users can get short movies
from the web?

Or is that still too specialised an interest?

So far I have only mentioned a few which might be interested in
submissions ... i.e. an outlet for amateur movie makers.
