HDMI Signal extenders over CAT5 cable

I have to produce images from my pc for a show over some distance. I believe one solution is to use HDMI line extenders using CAT5 cable to link up the HDMI output of my computer to the corresponding on the remote projector. Has any one tried this out before and does it work, if it does, is there any source of reasonable priced line extenders.
