Have read with much amusement the thread on the BlackMagic CinemaCamera. And yes, I'm seriously considering one. Got to at the price and spec.
But does anyone have any experience of/feedback on the Ikonoskop A-Cam dII ? It's been out there for a while (with no excitement - because of cost?)
Similar philosophy to BMCC, with pros (for me): CCD sensor, removable battery. But, I know, a big con: much higher price new.
Where's the Bolex D16? That would do very nicely. Is it going to happen, though, as promised?
It's all this "raw" stuff. At 2K it becomes (sort of) manageable in workflow and storage. It's certainly got me going, the chance to develop new skills and giving much more control over the end results.
