Re: Blu-Ray Rather Than DVD

Going off on a bit of a tangent we have members of our club who are shooting and editing quite good films on an Ipad, all in HD.
We can show the films using our club projector if they are copied onto a memory stick which our Blu-ray player will happily handle.
The problem comes if we want to amalgamate footage from an ipad shot at 30fps with other PAL video footage at 25fps.
Converting the ipad footage to 25fps causes inevitable stuttering particularly if there is lots of movement in the film.
Even converting to NTSC at 29fps causes some stuttering. As more people, particularly younger people, use their phones and tablets to make films we are going to see lots more 30fps HD footage.
