Elf NT-2 needs drive belts in its spool arms. A source would be a help, please.
A beautiful looking Bolex 521, plug it in, switch it on but can't turn the rotary (forward, back, lamp on etc, knob) Do you pull it out, push it in or is there an electro-magnetic lock on it, or something else?

Re: 16 mm projector help
Hi Peter,
I don't know if this will help you but try contacting Mr. Ray King, (Stoke on Trent
area), 'phone 01782 534179. He might have items you're looking for etc.
Lee.

Re: 16 mm projector help
Thanks a lot, Lee. Ray King was very helpful not only finding that he had some suitable belts but giving me some tips on installing them and using the projector which alone are worth some of the price for the belts.
I have done one film-video transfer on it to my DSR 300 with my best-beloved turning the take up spool by hand; it turned out to be a commercial film of the coronation of George VI, but the next one is 30+ minutes and with splices so may need special attention and a quick switch-off if the film comes apart so we'll wait for the belts before tackling that one.
Thanks again,
Peter
