Oohhh! Sounds painful, Michael. Is there a treatment for it? Glucosamine Sulphate might do the trick.

(Off to Prague in the wee small hours of the morning with Mrs Woodward for eight days; I'll be doing the last shots on a film project while I'm there.)

Do discs deteriorate more with use or only with age? In other words, does a gold master last a shorter time if repeatedly copied or doesn't it make any difference, and it will still last 100 years?

After years of searching I finally found a drawer storage unit specially made for miniDV tapes. It holds 400 miniDV tapes - 100 per drawer in proper slots.

And it costs £400+ VAT + postage.
