Spare lamps

Post by Spindrift »

Hi all,

can anyone tell me a good source for spare lamps for a Eumig S712D Projector.
I have just picked one up in a really good, workable condition but with no
lamp or manual so I'm not even sure what it would look like to be honest.
It is a 50 watt I believe. Thanks in anticipation of your expertise.

The Widescreen Centre is the place to go. Tony Shapps will know the model
number and have the correct lamp for you, I'm sure.

Vintage Cameras have them - and you can see a photo of the lamp at:

http://www.vintagecameras.co.uk/ltd/a117.htm

It is known in Britain as "A1/17" 8v 50w projection lamp and Vintage sell
it at £19.99.

You may manage to find it elsewhere. They turn up now and then on Ebay often
from Lees.

http://www.marriottworld.com/stock/lampstock.htm have them around £18.

and as Tom suggests the Widescreen Centre have them at £24.95 (go to http://www.widescreen-centre.co.uk,
click on their price list, scroll ro projector lamps and click.)

And Widescreen Centre have a range of super-8 spools - check the price list
and "film spools" startin gwith 200 ft in a case at £10.

And for general advice and info on making movies with sprockets down the
side try http://www.burycine.org.uk/cinealive/index.html

Cheers
