Mixer circuit

Post by Arthur Howkins »

I want to build a two channel mixer so that I can feed two lapel mikes or
two radio mikes into my camcorder and balance them. I don't want anything
too large; something I can 'hang' from my tripod. There used to be a good
product on the market but the firm went out of business before I could buy
one. The only other one I have seen is a pro job costing several hundred
pounds. Can anyone help?

Hi Arthur

Beyond HiFi do a 2 channel passive mixer: £10.95 [Euro€16.10]£12.87 [Euro€18.92]
(Including: VAT at 17.5%). They call it B-Tech - BT35 - 2 Channel Mini Passive
Mixer - no power required. I have no idea of the quality (!) but at that
price ... They are at http://www.tek2.com/beyondhifi

You can get some theoretical designs at http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/intro_opamp5.html

There are a number of mixers on ebay.co.uk

And Maplins do a range of mixers from £6.99 - www.maplins.co.uk and stores
around the country.

Hope this help a bit -
