Gold medal for..............

Post by AN »

Congtats to Dave on getting a UNICA Gold Medal(see IAC web site for details).....
...now when he comes out with a corny joke, will he be known as a UNICORN?
:-) But then UNICORNS don't have beards do they?
I likes yer snazzy pullover, Dave. (see IAC photo)
Albert....pulling over.

What pullover !? That is a genuine knitted Icelandic waistcoat wot I bought
in Reykjavik on a day trip from Bristol ... I kid you not. There was even
one chap on that plane who came in open-toed sandals ... to Iceland.

As for the presentation, at least my embarrassment shows on that photo.

But if you are looking at the IAC site forget my bit, read about the amazing
Mark Jackson and follow-up on his links. Jan and I were blown away by NINJA
MAN. Then read Ned's contributions. Our Atta has been busy on the interviews
and notes. The site just keeps getting better, Atta.

...Oh, so you didn't get cold feet about going to Iceland then. :-)

Well, if it's a waistcoat you now need a Hunter watch and chain to complete
the ensemble.

The thing Ned overlooked was to remind everyone to buy a haze filter too,
and ALWAYS keep it on the camera's lens, even if shooting in artificial light.
This acts as a protector for the camera lens against dirt/rain/fingers/Marmite
(if it's still around?) and has no adverse effects colour wise, or any other
wise.

Albert....wisely protecting.

Thanks Albert, I have got so used to just leaving the haze filter on the
