Well that was a surprise,
I got invited to observe another local film being shot, a good old micky take of the 70s
anyway..they said they were short of extra's and would i do some acting..I'm 51 and the last time i acted was infant school playing one of the wise men at the age of 7
not one for being a party pooper, they gave me a uniform and gun..and before you knew it.... the Devonshire brand of Rambo was born
By God I was good lovies and what a fantastic time i had
they were short

it was peter
but what a great experience... seeing as working with actors will be a new thing to me, what better way to see it from their point of view..
I am really looking forward to shooting my little movie, but have at long last realised , what you guys where saying about doing everything on my own..its nigh on impossible
and the importance of things like storyboards, and yes the right script format
I'am just loving this new world

Have a look at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53swoqa-e1s
It was the first of a series of war inspired movies that we at Preson Movie Makers made
This one won the trophy at the BIAFF in 2006
All the internals of the sub were shot in our Club meeting hall where we constructed a mock up of the sub's internals using MDF, pipe insulation and a plethora of old guages that our Prop Man had aquirred

Is another in the war series, this time the trench was constructed on a farm and was actually above ground, and was made to look like a trench

That looks fantastic. Do you have any photos of "the making of" or anything that shows the setup?
