This has been posted on the nle forum as my connection to this one got muddled (more likely I did!)
I had a reply there from Alan Atkinson but hope for more responses.
Pendle MM's renewal notice for club insurance, third party and equipment, had an administration fee of £50 added by the brokers, OAMPS, who were the IAC preferred brokers, on an insurance charge from Amlin of £140. On phoning them the admin fee has been halved.
Questions are
1. Are they still the recommended brokers?
2. Have others had this addition?
3. Do they think it reasonable?
It has never been added before and I thought they did it for their commision from the insurers.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Sorry about this but I have just seen our treasurer and I find the charge was £20 last year so £25 not so bad. The other questions still remain, though. Thanks.
