Have you "lost" a message to this forum?

Some years ago one member occasionally found that after typing in their message and clicking the SUBMIT button, the message vanished from their screen but did not appear on the forum.
Last night I had a phone call from another member who had the same thing happen.
It is not a problem I have been able to reproduce or explain.
Has anyone else suffered this?
