Web Accessibility for your websites please

Up until about a year ago I hadn't heard of the term 'Web Accessibility'. Basically this revolves around making websites easy and accessible for all people, especially those with reading difficulties or impairments. It covers things such as big enough writing for people to read. Does your site prevent colour blind people from using it? Is it in plain English or are you using fancy words to impress? Can the visually impaired make sense of its layout, and do the pictures posted have useful descriptions so their reading devices can make sense of the picture?
