A product of the lock down with not enough to do, a remake of something I did many years ago in 4:3

Loved it. Like many of the best ideas, a very simple one.
I never knew you were such a good actor, Ned. With a simple prop you managed to become several different people.

My only criticism: I'd suggest the "Director's" script could do with some tightening up - there's a bit too much in there that contibutes neither to the narrative nor the joke.

Image and audio quality fine. Looked very "video" which is exactly right for a documentary comprising interviews.

Cheered me up. Thanks :)

I agree, great fun and very nicely done. I've seen it before, Ned must have sent it to me sometime. I've heard similar conversations in the real world, everyone sees things from a different perspective. Ned's hair is great but maybe he should have had a wig for a couple of the characters, but that might have spoilt the joke.

How do we see the actual film you are talking about? Or was this a spoof?

Hi John; there really is a film "Redrock Blues" made about 2004 and 4 stars at BIAFF. I will dig around and see if I can find an uploadable version, thanks for viewing.

Ah-ha. someone had to ask the idiot question! The BIAFF films on the IAC website only seem to go back to 2009. I have seen your film about the melting icebergs. Do you have a YouTube or Vimeo site with your vids on?

Thanks Ned.

How about the various versions of Last Lines? Very powerful films and of all the films in the festival these were the ones that grabbed me the most (possibly because I have been aligned to that point of view since the age of 16)

Thanks for putting up Red Rock Blues, it makes more sense now. I like feel good films and happy endings, one ending of Red Rock Blues nearly fits into the happy ending part! Hugh Grant in About A Boy is one of my favourite films. I think the man should have taken up Amateur Moviemaking as a retirement hobby! If you were making the film now would you still use all those zooms and reveals? They seem to have gone out of favour over here.
