Re: SONY HXR NX3 CAMERA

Also, not including a charger, probably, means they can sell the camera at a slightly lower price point. It's the same with memory cards, many cameras don't come supplied with one, you go and buy the size of card that fits your needs.

In the Explorer menu there is a check box ....... Show file extensions.......that needs selecting
I think that in Vista the option is in Explorer under Tools / Folder Options / View tab and you need to un-check the box marked 'Hide extensions for known file types'

Re: Super 8 camera

Projector now resides in recycling centre For the ...

Re: SPECIAL SOFTWARE

I think I know what your friend is looking for Lee.
Do a Google search for 'flip book software' there's quite a few programs around, some are free, some you have to pay for.

Re: Projector lens caps

While lens caps do serve a dust reduction function, I've always thought that their main purpose was to protect the lens from impact damage during storage or transport. But if your projector is permanently set up there isn't really much need for them, ceiling mounted projectors are quite common in co...

I've just read about this too. It's a sad day for cinema, Ray Harryhausen was one of the Great Men in the cinema world.

I think categorising films by genre is good idea, for all the reasons Tim has already mentioned.

Re: Are we ready for an "Upright Film Contest"?
