Re: Crowd Funding - HELP

Hi Ned, Without going in to too much detail on the Budget. The rough breakdown is; Crew - 8% (majority of the crew are working for free) Cast - 28% (Equity Rates. This is quite high because we have a Hollywood actor involved) Location - 10% Accommodation for Cast & Crew - 10% Camera Equipment, L...

As someone who enters many film festivals around the world, Judges at BIAFF AND runs his own Film Festival... I have to say that BIAFF is unique in that it gives feedback to EVERY entrant. Some festivals you can pay extra for written feedback, but pretty much all do not provide any feedback whatsoev...

Re: Exit 6 Film Festival

The final selection of films has been made, and we're screening 41 films throughout the day. With the top 6 being screened in the evening. Below is a short trailer showing brief clips from all 41 films that have made it through. The festival is going to be an all day'er! Day time tickets cost £5, an...

Re: Goalball video

Hahaha... i'm not sure! My brief was to make the sport look cool and exciting. So whether you understand how the game is played or not, i hope it looks cool and exciting?! :-) This video is the first of it's kind for the sport too, no one has ever filmed it in this sort of way. Which is kinda exciti...

Re: Goalball video

Hey Tim. It's a sport for Visually Impaired people, the guy in the centre of the opening shots plays for Team GB at the Paralympics. The 'shades' are to put everyone on an even playing field, so all players are totally blind. There are 3 people at each end of the court infront of a 9m goal, and they...

Re: Goalball video

I was the same Dave.

When we shot the film, at the end of the first day i made sure that all the crew suited up and played a game, to get an idea on what the players go through. Was a LOT of fun! I just wish i had taken the trainers advice and worn a box! Ouch!

Re: Angel of Saigon - Sizzle Reel

Cheers Tim. I'd love to use the same cast, but if people are giving us money (and i mean lots of it), we may have to change the cast around a bit. But if i was in total control, i would definitely keep the same cast. :)
