Willy - maybe you could film yourself giving a greeting to the Americans and thanking them for the award. If you send that to Ned's American address on a DVD they might play it at the convention. Yes, Dave, that's a good idea. I will do this. Now I'm in a hurry because I will have to do other thing...

Re: Why did you join the IAC?

[quote="stingman Why did you join the IAC? I joined the IAC about 11 years ago. Maybe because I love Britain. I prefer the British atmosphere rather than the Belgian one at festivals. I am sure that all my friends who have already attended BIAFF and other festivals on the Albion and in Guernsey...

Re: Film Festival

I was having a look at the web-site for the BBC Film Festival which is being held in Glasgow on 9th Sept. and was intrigued by the picture of the presenter as it looks to me as if he is posing with a Super 8 camera. It looks like it could be a Canon but I might be wrong - what do you all think? htt...

Judges comments, yes; but dividing up "the rest" into award categories must be a nightmare and very uncertain so don't bother. Perhaps I would hang a Gold award on a quiet wall but certainly nothing less. ned c "I would hang a Gold award on a quiet wall, but certainly nothing less.&q...

Some friends helped me. David Andrew seemed to be very pleased with the result. I was standing next to a ...
