Thankyou Dave and fred, the on water shots are going to be taken with a Waterproof go-pro 2HD camera, i also have a boat at my call as there is no way my camera will be taken on the kayak.. :lol: i do have a little advantage, i have a beautiful little sister who has cerbal paulsey, thats why i quote...

Hi Chris No..Not the forum..when I say jargon or terminology :lol: i mean all the things in editing software or camera set ups... ie, chroma phase, DRS effect, MATRIX or TCG, plus many more, these things may be familiar to many of you, but to me, being a simple floorlayer who enjoys filming they are...

good point Dave..i always tell people who look at video's on Vimeo to press play then pause then let the loading bar reach the end before pressing play again... this normally results in a good quality film playback

It may get better when we get fibre optic broadband ..... :lol: I live in hope

One of the biggest things I'm finding hard is the whole jargon, there are things on the camera and edit software that gets me staring into space :| i guess there are to many to mention and I do try to google each word meaning... i know i'm not the brightest button on the tunic, and do like to think ...

Thankyou fred :D yes I noticed right away what the difference the new tripod made, I took on board what you guys said about the panning, and hopefully it shows, having been given some advice by you guys really made it a pleasure trying to get those shots..really thinking about the filming.... still ...

Hi Guys,

still messing around and trying out new things, here is another quickie , i have used a couple of clips from the other film just to see how they work out..also bought a new tripod and have noticed a massive difference

auto and manual used...

One simple thing that can get over looked... (as I did)...carry a bottle of lens cleaner and cloth, especially when filming near the sea :roll:
