This is a superb film! Its a short 8 minute film, actually shot on 35mm. I was pointed its way by one of the FX guys involved who is a Senior at Columbia College, Chicago. The production values are stunning, as is the camera work. Not 100% sure what its about... but revel in its glory. :-) [youtube]...

My editing software (Pinnacle Studio 10+) has all the codecs i need built in, with the option to download more. So i can export my films into a huge range of formats in one easy step. :-)

In YouTube, click Account next to your username, then select Video's Favourites and Playlists.

Put a tick in the box next to the icon of your selected video and then click the button Remove Video which will appear under the Icon for that movie.

Voila.

Audacity is great! My new 'Fan Film' goes into production tomorrow night... can't wait! The film is coming together really nicely. I've managed to persuade a guy in Texas to do all the voices i need for the film, and i'm using Audacity to give them depth and to Master them... its all ticking along n...

I think this is where i differ... i love those films that are open ended, or dark and twisted. The endings that keep you guessing wanting more!

I love the ending to films like The Thing, Prince of Darkness, and Arlington Road... that's my bag... :-)

This thread has been a cracking good read, and i want to thank everyone for taking the time to watch ABC and give me their constructive criticism. I've certainly learnt a few things here... and that is great! It would definately appear that i was obviously too close to my subject to see the bigger p...

I've just watched your film, and I certainly think you worked hard on the music, as it seemed very well chosen! You have an unusual sound to your voiceover voice... :-) almost like you're recording the VO late at night, and the kids are asleep in the next room! :-) Ahem! Ummm... you're not far off ...

I forgot to mention that the version on my site is not the final version that was submitted to BIAFF08. The one that was submitted was slightly shorter, with a few extra tweaks.

BIAFF 2008 - The Results

Well... anyone happy with their score? My film got 2 stars, and i have to say i'm extremely dissappointed, especially after reading what 2 stars means! I honestly thought it was better than that. I'm still waiting for the postman to deliver my letter so i can read why the judges marked it so low! I'...
