Stingman - I think you are taking a bit of honest mutiny a bit too far with the comments about grumpy people. It's offensive actually. Free speech needs to be responsible. Er no. It`s not offensive actually. They may be smileling a bit, but the camera could have done the whole scene alittle justice...

And sorry Chris, I think postings here should be restricted to IAC members! (One of the perks, if you like!). Non IAC members can read, but not participate. Or have seperate 'members' and 'public' areas - That's how most society forums work anyway. Oh dear, that counts me out then! Members areas are...

I myself tend to skip through all the gumph about who took who`s job in the IAC and stuff about how a club meet went (boring!). I go for the HD stuff and how people have actualy got on with gear and how they made there films. THIS is more better for us because we learn more and it`s interesting. Be ...

I also think we need to plan our titles more to fit in with the film. I discussed before about how sometimes the Paramount Logo changes colour or it`s shape etc, to reflect and fit into the following film. I now plan my titles and just don`t `PLONK` white letter or red letters onto the screen. They ...

When Hard became Easy!
Dear Filmmakers, The latest Competition at my club (which was handed in last night, which is to be held two weeks time) is the Open Competition. A max 12 minute with anything going (almost)  The film I chose to make was about my Tropical Fish. It was a quick edit of two days, finishing o...

I have access to my clubs copy and `borrowed` it last night. One of the best bits I like in it is the articles on HD. The two that i`ve read so far have been about Reallife. This one is good as it mentions about rendering to normal DVD`s short clips in HD. Was this clip in HD viewed on his bluray? I...

You would think by now that they would have got formats and compatability right. I HATE haveing to save a film in one format and then haveing to convert it another format. I can have the same film comming out of my ears with different formats and filesizes. I`m still looking forward to editing in HD...

If you have anything of a Scottish flavour this will be particularly welcome...... Yes.... Blokes running about in skirts, playing a bag full of wind sound like a dieing cat and drunk on whisky     I have family in Scotland so i`m always winding them up. Come on, they`ve only ...
