Panasonic projector 3000
Our club has now got their Panasonic 3000 projector up & running. I was keen to see the projected results, so last evening various material was show from old VHS to commercial Blue Ray DVD and all very impressive. Naturally I was anxious to see what a DVD from my new Sony Z5 camera looked like a...

PANASONIC NV-DV2000EC DECK
Having now got my new Sony Z5 camera with the ability to record in Hi Def I am considering disposing of my ever faithful Panasonic NV-DV2000ec deck and upgrade to a HiDef deck. I've had it from new and all the details can be seen at http://www.avland.co.uk/panasonic/nvdv2000/. This deck is capable o...

Club recruitment . . .
One of our video club members suggested making a promotional video for our club and posting it on You Tube or similar. Has any club tried this or has views on the suggestion. Might be worth discussing! Pete.

Re: Help with embedding video into a web site
Annette,
I have just checked the internet link quoted in my first message and it failed. So please try www.cotswoldmagic.co.uk (Don't put the video bit). This will take you to the home page then click on the VIDEO link. I know this works. Pete

Re: Help with embedding video into a web site
Hi Annette, I embed videos from You Tube into my Serif Web plus 10 site. There are instructions to do this in the Serif handbook. However, do as Dave says and copy the code from the You Tube site then follow the instructions. It was a bit finnicky at first. Then I upgraded to Serif Webplus X2 where ...

Re: An audience of millions . . .
Dave, Thanks for your reply with lots of things I am trying to absorb. However I will go straight to your last paragraph. This is fully understand and appreciate. I have frequently wondered why one compresses a movie before sendng up to You Tube, for You Tube to compress it again. From what I read, ...

Re: An audience of millions . . .
Thanks for the reply. Today I took a new short production of about 2 and half minutes and from within Premiere C4 compressed it to one of their presets to MPEG4. Try it out thinks I. Well it all went OK and I uploaded it to You Tube but when viewing, to my horror, the audio was fine but the video wa...

An audience of millions . . .
 In the February issue of Film & Video Maker, also the Soco News, I added my contribution to the opening debate about clubs keeping up with the times and technology. I was pleased to see in the latest issues much more debate on the subject and what splendid content there is in the lastest ...

Re: PROJECTORS
Thanks for all those replies that I have passed to the secretary to mull over with the rest of the mafia . . . . . By the time a decision is made there will be newer and better models on the market. Pete

PROJECTORS
Our video club has, at last, the funds to purchase new projection equipment and all are now discussing (that means arguing) about the best projector. Some favour the Panasonic 3000 at over two grand whilst others prefer the Sony VPL HW10 at about 1850 pounds. One respected dealer says he recommends ...

I see on the BBC TV text service this morning that a Christian group are launching a competition for the Christian story to be told in 30 seconds or less. The entries can be either radio or video on You Tube . Now there’s a challenge for individuals and video clubs. That raises another point. Now th...

Thanks for the gen Howard. Appreciated. Since making the posting I have e-mailed the manufacturer in the USA with basically the same as I posted here. I received a quick reply where they stated that they were just the makers and did not supply the training . . . HOWEVER they sent to me a basic users...
