Re: VideoPad

Yes, it seems good. But I'm looking for something for someone who can't afford to pay anything at the moment. A beginner. The thing is I don't want her to put a lot of energy into learning VideoPad and then discovering that she can only make say one disc or one mp4 file.

Re: VideoPad

Ned, has your 'free trial' run out? It seems that although Roy has been using his for ages, the free trial has only just run out when he tried to burn a second disc.
I'd like to be sure that even after the free trial has run out the user can go on making mp4 files forever?

Re: VideoPad

So Roy, can you still make an mp4 file? Even after the trial has run out?

Re: VideoPad

Ned, I downloaded the one which was 'trial' and later one which was 'free'. I think the 'trial' is different from the free one in that it has more features to begin with and maybe they disappear after a while? And the trial kept asking me if I wanted to upgrade.
Does anyone think that's right?

Re: VideoPad

Are you using the free one, Roy? I'm trying to find a FREE editing program for a member of my club. Coincidentally I downloaded the free VideoPad yesterday and had a go with it and was pleased with it. But then I read a few very negative reviews, so I worried about recommending it to a beginner. Wha...

Re: COVID-19

In reply to Edinburgh Cine and Video Society's ponderings...I don't know how it would work having a Zoom guest speaker with a live theatre audience. I haven't really thought about the logistics of it and we haven't tried it, but it may well be the sort of thing we and other clubs will need to think ...

Re: COVID-19

It sounds like your presentation for Finchley went really well, Tom! Great stuff! At my club, when we had to cancel our meetings in the hall that we hire, for a moment it looked like it would be a quiet period and we might all lose touch with each other. But far from it! The Covid-19 lockdown has br...

Re: COVID-19

Brian, Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers have done like your photographic club. We had a virtual committee meeting on Zoom. It was a great success. Now we have a plan to hold Club meetings with Zoom. So far 22 members have access to Zoom, so I'm optimistic that it'll work for most members, although I am...
